2006 A Transition To...
It's just about over, this year of 2006. And what a transition year it's been!
The forecasters have been out in a few dribbles so far, and no doubt they'll be polishing off the crystal balls in earnest over the next few weeks.
And where do you think they'll predict the world of home based business is heading in 2007?
There are a few signs, based mainly on the momentum of the past 12 months.
The key driver has undoubtedly been the spread of broadband Internet connections. And the dramatic increases in speed of those connections.
My inbox used to be filled with text emails. Then HTML emails. Then teleconference emails. Now... video, thank you very much.
Without a high-speed Internet connection, you simply can't function efficiently online any more. Or so it seems.
So take that as the harbinger. More that appeals to the television-trained brains of the world. Read pretty, explosive, shallow.
The winners are going to be those who harness video with quality content built on a solid marketing base.
How are your skills in that department? And what do you plan to do about them?
