40 - 75% CTRs on Adsense?
What sort of a clickthrough rate do you get on your Adsense ads?
If you're like the majority of people who participated in a recent poll at a private forum (of fairly savvy webmasters), your average is in single digits.
If you've read the advice available in specialist publications you've probably pushed that up to 15%.
If you've worked further, and acted on your tracking results, you may be in the high 20% range. In one group of sites I consistently average in the low 30s.
So when I saw that Richard Driver had a new service promising CTRs in the 40 - 75% range, I pricked my ears.
I didn't know Richard Driver, so did a quick background check on him. Seems to have quite a powerful reputation, plus integrity. Ditto for the people giving him testimonials.
Every 50 sales (to a limit) the price of the Google Cash Factor service goes up, so I jumped right in. You can see the (rather mysterious) ad here.
What he's offering is to build 4 specialized sites to his 'secret formula' per month, 4 proprietory traffic generation methods, 4 unique keyword lists and a closed forum. Now I haven't the faintest idea what that will involve, or how much work it will involve for me, so this is a bit of a punt. But several people I trust say the man is the real deal. I'll keep you posted.
But just imagine ... let's say you average 20 cents every time someone clicks on an Adsense ad on your site, and you get 1000 visitors to that page.
If your CTR is 10% you earn $20
If your CTR is 40% you earn $80
If your CTR is 75% you earn $150
Big difference! Particularly when you consider that such a difference would continue long beyond the 1000 visitors. Having already climbed some of that ladder, I know it's possible.
And having someone build the sites means they will be done. Some other excellent systems fail to produce to capacity for one reason - that I don't get around to doing the work. This eliminates that flaw.
Is the Cash Factor all it's cracked up to be? I don't know. But time will tell!
